As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, including checking inbound and outbound traffic in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
