Revolution is looking for a dynamic, driven Sales Representative to join our recycling business and support customers throughout the Midwest. This is a hybrid position located near Terre Haute, Indiana, with approximately 25% travel. We are looking for an ambitious, highly energetic salesperson with 3+ years of sales experience, a strong ability to build relationships and develop new business, and the drive to consistently exceed sales and profitability goals. We will provide the training needed to learn the recycling and plastics industry.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this is a great opportunity for a motivated salesperson who wants to grow their career and take on broader commercial responsibilities. The role will include selling recycled resin, purchasing plastic scrap, developing customer and supplier relationships, coordinating with plant operations, creating recycled resin blends to meet customer needs, and managing order entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Consistently meets sales and gross profit-related goals.
• Manage customer base and develop action plans to support long-term sales growth.
• Nurtures sales volume by studying trends, economic indicators, competitors, pricing, and supply and demand within the market.
• Identify and acquire plastic scrap and resin sources which create value and opportunity for Revolution.
• Make pricing decisions to maximize profitability by evaluating the market, our all-in costs, and plant inventory levels.
• Understand customer requirements and work with the plant to produce resin formulations/blends which meet customer specifications.
• Monitor finished goods inventory for sales opportunities.
• Help customers technically integrate our PIR and PCR products into their applications. 
• Troubleshoot problems when customer product requirements are not met.
• Address customer needs in product availability, deliveries, and product performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred - business administration, engineering, chemistry, polymer science or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of demonstrated relevant sales and marketing experience.
• Experience in the plastics or plastics recycling industry, in either a sales or technical role is preferred. 
• Experience in plastic recycle trading and brokering preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Customer-oriented with solid negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills and effectively communicating with management and internal and external customers.
• Pragmatic and action-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business conditions and priorities.
• Proficient computer skills in relevant software systems, including ERP (which is IQMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Build relationships with key customers and plastic scrap generators and suppliers.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $90k-$115k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
