Radiation Therapist Oncology
Schedule: Shift: Days 09:3018:00
Requirements:
- Active California RT license (required at submission)
- ARRT (T) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of RT experience
- Epic charting system experience
- Clinical skills in CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and external beam therapy (IMRT, SRS)
- Familiarity with HDR
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to adult oncology patients.
- Perform quality assurance checks and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and improve patient care.
- Respond to emergency cases and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
- Operate and maintain treatment equipment safely and effectively.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, side effects, and care plans.
Compliance / Notes:
- Valid permanent California license required at the time of submission; no temporary or pending licenses accepted.
- Two supervisor-level references from the past year required at submission.
- Maximum RTO of 2 weeks total; no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required.
