PM Technician

This role focuses on performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and furnaces while supporting the maintenance team and learning broader maintenance skills. You will work hands-on with mechanical systems, contribute to reliable production operations, and gradually grow into a more advanced maintenance position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, including greasing, oiling, and other routine service tasks.
• Add oil to furnaces and ensure proper lubrication and operation of related equipment.
• Change filters on furnaces and maintain clean, efficient operation of heat-treating equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assigned maintenance and PM tasks safely and accurately.
• Assist the maintenance team with a wide range of tasks and learn maintenance procedures and best practices on the job.
• Support maintenance activities involving mechanical components, including basic troubleshooting and repairs under guidance.
• Assist equipment operators when requested to help maintain smooth production flow.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document work performed according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new maintenance skills and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
