Housekeeping Manager  oversees housekeeping services ensuring that rooms and premises are clean and organized. 

The ideal Housekeeping Manager candidate is energetic, organized and has strong multitasking abilities. 

Duties Include:

• The Housekeeping Manager works closely with Human Resources
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships
• Ensure customer satisfaction 
• Ensure implementation of Safety & Disaster Preparedness Plan, Policies & Procedures and regulatory compliance (e.g. licensing, OSHA, etc.)
• Procure and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
• Ensure all safety measures are used when housekeeping duties are being performed (e.g. wet floor signs, chemicals are secured and labeled, etc.)
• Maintain required records, reports, and equipment/supply manual
• Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective staff
• Supervise housekeeping staff
• Reviews hours for payroll
• Prepare a staffing schedule
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, speak and understand English
• All Housekeeping Manager candidates must be proficient in basic computer programs and must be able to correspond timely through e-mail or other forms of technical communication as needed to successfully complete the requirements for this job.
• Housekeeping Management experience a plus
• Nursing Home experience a plus
• This position requires a candidate that is quick to learn and has exceptional customer service skills.
