Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking dependable and experienced Commercial Electrical Apprentices & Electrical Trainees to join our team on a large-scale new construction cold storage facility project in the Porterville, CA area! This is a long-term opportunity for electricians with strong commercial construction experience who are comfortable performing conduit installation, wire pulls, rough-in work, and lighting installation. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Apprentice Pay: $30-$35 an hour Trainee Pay: Up to $24 depending on experience Duration: Long Term Responsibilities Install EMT, rigid, and other conduit systems Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit Pull wire and cable through conduit systems Perform rough-in work for commercial electrical systems Install lighting fixtures, supports, and associated components Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and project layouts Assist with equipment installation and electrical infrastructure build-out Maintain a safe and productive work environment Follow all site safety requirements and company policies Required 3-5 years of commercial electrical experience Strong conduit bending skills Experience on large commercial or industrial new construction projects Experience installing lighting systems Ability to work with minimal supervision Experience running conduit and pulling wire Familiarity with commercial rough-in work Ability to use basic electrical hand tools Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work overtime as needed Tools & PPE Basic electrical hand tools Appropriate PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, high-visibility vest, and gloves as required What We're Looking For This project requires productive commercial electrical apprentices who can contribute immediately to conduit installation, wire pulls, rough-in activities, and lighting installation. We are primarily seeking apprentice-level electricians rather than journeymen for the majority of the project labor scope. Qualified candidates should be safety-minded, dependable, and capable of maintaining productivity on a fast-paced commercial construction site.
