CNC Technician

divh2CNC Technician/h2pTroubleshoot CNC equipment and ensure preventative maintenance (PM) procedures are completed./ppSupport the documentation of PM completion records and procedures./ppRepair CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centers./ppInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls./ppTroubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems./ppUse machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues./ppIdentify and replace parts as necessary./ppComplete testing and adjust parts as needed./ppCoordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work./ppWork with a sense of urgency to minimize machine downtime./ppIn conjunction with the production team, support continuous improvement plans./ppPerform general facilities maintenance./ppPerform other duties as assigned./ppRequired skills:/ppMust be a U.S. citizen./ppRequires a high school diploma or equivalent./ppRequires at least 4 years of experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls./ppRequires at least 4 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair./ppMust be able to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides./ppRequires a high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, and repair skills./ppMust have advanced knowledge of CNC machine design and operation./ppRequires advanced knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems./ppMust be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and weekends, as needed./ppMust be able to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently./ppMust be able to work with minimal supervision./p/div
