This role is integral to our financial operations and will ensure seamless processing of all accounts payable functions. **Job Summary:** The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable practices, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system. - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure that all invoices are paid on time. - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Assist in preparing monthly financial reports related to accounts payable. - Monitor the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries as needed. - Collaborate with internal departments to verify purchase orders and ensure proper documentation is in place. - Support month-end closing processes by providing data and analysis related to accounts payable activities. - Maintain and improve Accounts Payable processes and procedures to enhance efficiency. - Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. - Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required. - 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or others) is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. **Why Join Us?** At LivAway Suites, we value our team members and foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
