About the Role:

The Press Helper plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of printing presses within a manufacturing or production environment. This position is responsible for assisting press operators by preparing materials, monitoring equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the printing process. The Press Helper contributes to maintaining high-quality output by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires close collaboration with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain consistent product standards. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial machinery safely.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with printing press equipment and terminology.
• Basic troubleshooting skills related to mechanical equipment.
• Certification in workplace safety or equipment operation.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist press operators in setting up and preparing printing presses for production runs.
• Load paper, ink, and other necessary materials into the press according to specifications.
• Monitor press operations to detect and report any malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when replenishment is needed.
