HVAC Technician

Join a skilled HVAC team as a technician working on new construction and fit-out projects, installing and servicing sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems in a collaborative, field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems and components for new construction and fit-out projects according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and related components using appropriate tools and methods.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and project plans to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete HVAC installation tasks.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and basic system problems, identifying causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Work closely with foremen, mechanics, technicians, and helpers to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on construction sites and in mechanical spaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status, issues, and material needs.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of HVAC installation experience in construction or similar environments.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC installation, including new construction and fit-out projects.
• Proficiency working with sheet metal and ductwork installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Skilled in using hand tools and basic power tools required for HVAC and sheet metal work.
• Troubleshooting skills related to HVAC installation and system setup.
• EPA Certification.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on active job sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting foremen, mechanics, technicians, or helpers on HVAC projects.
• Background in construction environments and familiarity with construction site practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow established procedures and guidelines.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bath, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
