Lead Bartender Lead bartender for the bar team at Pendry (Montage). Responsible for serving drinks, training new staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with leading the team, training new associates, and supporting day‑to‑day operations Interact one on one with guests; take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction, and anticipate guest needs Maintain bar cleanliness and appearance; stock appropriate products and supplies Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques, and service delivery of both non‑alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered Assist with planning and developing new drink menus and cocktail recipes Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies Work as a team and effectively communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff Deliver on guests’ expectations and create wow moments Perform additional duties as assigned that may lie outside the normal scope of duties based on business needs Desired Qualifications Enjoy spirits, wine, and food Basic communication skills Passionate about providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable moments Open to learning, developing, and growing personally and helping others do the same Trustworthy with integrity Must Haves Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Ability to collaborate in a team environment One year minimum of experience in bartending Prior Micros or other systems experience is a plus Luxury hotel experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Pay scale: $19/hr Free meals Free uniforms and cleaning Ongoing community outreach events Hotel discounts Association events throughout the year Healthcare benefits 401(k) retirement plan with company matching Physical Requirements Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during scheduled shift Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during shift Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis EEO Statement In the United States, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer – veterans/disability.
