**Join Our Team as a Night Shift Psychiatric RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty:** Psychiatry/Behavioral and Mental Health/Addiction - **Location:** Dublin, OH - **Shift:** Nights 7P – 7:30A (2 hours per 2 weeks including 4 weekdays and 2 weekends) - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours - **Weekend Hours:** 24 for each two weeks - **Call Requirements:** None **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 72 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4-6 - **EHR Systems:** HCS; Pxyis; Paper - **Supervisor:** Megan Moses, CNO - **Patient Population:** Adults **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct COWS and CIWAs assessments - Respond effectively to CODE Blues and violent situations - Manage admissions and discharges - Perform shift assessments and regular emergency medication administration - Apply de-escalation techniques as required **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Strong knowledge of COWS and CIWAs - Experience in handling admissions and discharges - Proven ability to respond to emergencies - Familiarity with Pxyis and HCS systems **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** - Alcohol and Drug Addiction - Bi-Polar Disorder - Depression - Anxiety - Psychosis - Schizophrenia **Personality Fit:** - Pleasant demeanor - Hardworking attitude - Strong attention to detail - Team player mentality **Required Qualifications:** - Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing - Certifications: BLS, HWC, Handle With Care - Experience: 2+ years in a psychiatric setting **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy Blue Scrubs with shirts underneath or scrub coat - Unacceptable Attire: No hoods; uniform must be worn properly **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
