Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automated testing for enterprise, web-based, service-oriented, and client-server applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience in functional and backend testing, and the ability to create and execute comprehensive test strategies.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases
Strong understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing
Experience with enterprise, web-based, and client-server applications
Expertise in defect tracking and bug reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience writing SQL queries for backend testing
Knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools
Understanding of traceability matrix and test documentation

Role Summary
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for validating software quality through detailed test planning, execution, automation, and defect management. The role involves collaborating with development teams, improving QA standards, and ensuring reliable application performance across enterprise
Create test cases, test plans, and automated test scripts
Execute functional, regression, and backend testing activities
Identify, document, and report software defects and issues
Develop and manage change requests for project components
Analyze requirements and design documents to identify issues
Prepare reusable and automation-ready test cases
Maintain traceability matrix between test scripts and requirements
Write SQL queries for backend validation and data testing
Recommend improvements to QA standards and procedures
Stay updated with emerging QA technologies and testing trends
