Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Overview Cone Health, a not-for-profit health care network serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, is seeking a Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care to surgical, obstetric, and procedural patients across a variety of specialties in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, proceduralists, and the perioperative care team. Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans. Administer all forms of anesthesia and monitor patients throughout the perioperative continuum. Manage airways, hemodynamics, fluids, and pain control; respond to changes in patient condition. Participate in post-anesthesia care and follow-up to ensure patient safety and comfort. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; adhere to evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and care efficiency. Precept and mentor students and newer clinicians as appropriate; participate in interprofessional education; engage in continuing education to sustain and advance clinical expertise. Work within a collaborative and compassionate culture focused on patient care quality, diversity, and inclusivity; operate in modern surgical and procedural suites with state-of-the-art technology. Participate in opportunities for professional growth, clinical committees, and practice development such as enhanced recovery protocols and patient safety initiatives.
