Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by conducting audits and inspections, addressing quality issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, development, and operations, to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Communicate quality issues and findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings and presentations to share information and updates.
• Manage MRB meetings to address quality concerns.
• Review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on time.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality inspection in manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent visual acuity and ability to identify even minor defects.
• Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform quality improvement initiatives.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Clear and accurate record-keeping of inspection results.
• Effective communication with production personnel, quality management, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in quality control, identifying and correcting defects through inspections and testing.
• Strong experience in quality assurance, maintaining a proactive process aimed at preventing defects by managing the entire production process.
• Experience in quality inspection, maintaining processes that evaluate products or services to ensure they meet quality standards.

Work Environment

Work in a state-of-the-art facility from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, and using ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required. The position involves lifting up to 35 pounds and requires good manual dexterity and coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ 85212.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
