RN - Oncology Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year, pediatric experience required License: Current license in hand (Compact or state license) Certifications: BLS, PALS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), APHON Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description:Targeted start date is October 5, 2026.The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience and pediatric experience is required.The following certifications must be in-hand: BLS, PALS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), APHON.Skill set includes: Accessing and managing ports Administration of chemotherapy, blood products, and bone marrow Patient education and support Recognizing and managing side effects Care coordination and teamwork in a pediatric oncology setting Management of central lines, PICC lines, and chest tubes Usage of infusion pumps and PCA pump management Knowledge of alterations in skin and mucous membranes Implementation of precautions for neutropenic patients This role involves caring for a unique and complex patient population, including stem cell transplant recipients and pediatric oncology patients with high-risk conditions.Professional growth opportunities are available through interdisciplinary support and collaboration within a comprehensive care framework.Flexibility to work every other weekend is required.Candidate must maintain responsiveness and meet compliance deadlines throughout the contract duration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
