Primary Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food, working at a specific station to prepare dishes according to recipes and under the direction of the chef Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients Set up and stock your station with the necessary ingredients and supplies Cook food using various methods like grilling, frying, sauting, baking, etc., according to recipes and standards Ensure dishes are cooked to the correct temperature and doneness Plate dishes for presentation Maintain a clean and organized workstation Ensure proper food handling and storage practices Follow health and safety regulations Assist with inventory management Follow instructions and guidance from the chef or sous chef Work efficiently and effectively in a demanding environment Other tasks as required by the management Qualified Candidates Must Have: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent At least one year as a line cook or similar role preferred Proficiency with knives & knife technique Some exposure to the hospitality industry preferred Proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods Strong time management skills Ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods Must have or be able to obtain North Dakota Food Handler's card.
