Hands-On Mechanical Engineering Intern - CAD & Fabrication

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern for Fall 2026 within its Sensor Systems Engineering Division. Candidates will assist Research Engineers with various engineering tasks including mechanical design, documentation, and assembly. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, as well as a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is a full-time or part-time intern position, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory. The role offers hands-on experience in projects pertaining to mechanical measurements and 3D modeling using tools like Solidworks.
