Laboratory Operations Manager

X4 Engineering are working with a global analytical testing organization looking for a Laboratory Operations Managerat their lab in San Angelo, TX. This role will be fully on-site position - significant relocation assistance is on offer for the successful candidate, should they require it. Key Responsibilities Lead daily lab operations and personnel, including performance against KPIs and financial goals Oversee the interviewing, evalutation, and eventual hiring of new lab personnel Enforce all QMS documentation including the Quality Manual, SOPs, and applicable test methods Education & Skills Required Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related discipline 5+ years' experience of supervisory experience in a laboratory environment Expertise with PCR, ELISA, and cultural confirmation of foodborne pathogens including Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli O157:H7 Competitive bonus package based on incentives/targets A choice of medical, dental, vision plans, employer-paid disability coverage & financial protection, 401(k) retirement contribution Candidates will need full rights to work in the US (i.e. US citizenship or Green Card) to be considered for this opportunity.
