About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: - Meditech experience - High caliber patient experience skills Description: The Emergency Department requires an RN for the Main ED and PBED. Ideal candidates will have experience with Meditech and an urgent availability to start. Minimal requests for PTO are preferred. The unit has a total of 37 beds and is a Level 2 trauma center. There are 73 FTEs on staff, with varying roles for both day and night shifts. Patient care ratios are 1:4 in designated zones. The unit utilizes GE monitors and employs an Electronic Medical Record system. Candidates should possess high energy, self-motivation, and amiability. The position requires 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period, and there is no on-call requirement.
