Restoration & Construction Estimator

Founded in 2008, R&L Restoration provides premier property damage restoration, reconstruction, and commercial construction across Greater Houston. We specialize in water, fire, mold, and storm damage reconstruction for insurance-backed residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Restoration & Construction Estimator with strong technical skills, a friendly customer-first approach, and natural salesmanship. You will meet with property owners during loss events, build rapport, write accurate estimates, and win their trust. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Relations: Meet with property owners, deliver warm and empathetic customer service, answer questions, and secure signed agreements. Scope & Estimating: Perform site inspections and write clear, accurate estimates for water, fire, mold, storm, and commercial reconstruction projects. Insurance Collaboration: Work directly with insurance adjusters to finalize scope items, navigate claims, and get estimates approved. Project Hand-off: Coordinate with internal project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to move jobs into production seamlessly. Requirements Proficiency in Xactimate and MICA mitigation software. Experience in property damage restoration , reconstruction, or general construction estimating. Solid understanding of construction methods, line items, labor costs, and insurance claim processes. Excellent interpersonal and consultative sales skills, with a warm and empathetic communication style. Sharp attention to detail to ensure no scope items are missed.
