Paralegal - Personal InjuryLocation: Torrington, CT Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Employment Type: Full-time, In-personAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced paralegal to support our personal injury litigation practice. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to manage cases, prepare legal documentation, coordinate discovery, and assist with trial preparation. This is a fast-paced position requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and court pleadingsCoordinate service and delivery of subpoenas and other legal documentsManage case files, maintain organized records, and ensure all deadlines are metConduct legal and factual research to support case preparation and proceedingsAssist attorneys with case management, discovery, and trial preparationManage and coordinate daily case activity and law office operationsCommunicate with clients, courts, medical providers, and other parties as neededRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of paralegal experience in personal injury litigationHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong understanding of legal procedures and document preparationProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management softwareExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesCritical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsParalegal certificate or associate's degree in paralegal studiesExperience working in a law firm environmentFamiliarity with legal case management platformsBenefitsHealth insurance401(k)23 days PTOWork ScheduleMonday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMWork Location: In-person, 5 days per week
