Registered Nurse - ICU / PCU
Location: Plano, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in ICU and PCU care. The ideal candidate will possess experience in trauma, burn, and surgical ICU settings and demonstrate superior communication and critical thinking abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU.
- Perform wound care, manage codes, and assist with procedures such as EVDs and MTP.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit policies and guidelines.
- Participate in staff training and mentoring as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have Trauma, Burn, and Surgical ICU experience.
- RN Licensure.
- CCRN preferred but not mandatory.
- BSN preferred.
