Volt is hiring entry level Data Center Technicians in Maiden NC.

As a Data Center Technician, you will assist with decommissioning computer servers, networking devices and associated equipment in a cutting edge data center for one of the largest companies in the world. You will be responsible for removing hard drives from servers, disconnecting all cables, removing servers from racks and organizing equipment on pallets for shipping.

This is a full time/Contract opportunity estimated to last for 6 months.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have familiarity with computer hardware (hard drives and ethernet cables)
• Able to work as part of a team and independently as needed
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working on ladders
• Willingness to operate heavy-load movement equipment up to 50lbs (pallet jacks, chassis lift, etc)
• Be available to work Mon-Fri from 8:00am – 5:00pm and flexible to work non business hours that may included weekends or holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
