3rd shift dump truck driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable 3rd shift dump truck driver, 2nd week in August, to haul dirt along I-26 in Asheville. This role requires solo driving during overnight hours with a focus on safety, efficient route navigation, and load management. The driver will be self-directed and report to a dispatcher, ensuring timely deliveries without overnight or extended travel.

Responsibilities

Haul dirt along designated routes on I-26 during the 3rd shift
Operate dump truck safely and efficiently
Navigate routes to meet delivery schedules
Manage load capacity and secure materials properly
Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment readiness
Maintain open communication with dispatch and relevant personnel

Required Qualifications

Valid CDL license for driving dump trucks
Strong time management skills to meet shift demands
Adherence to safety compliance standards
Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in truck driving
