You will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting the development of junior professionals. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise and help deliver practical, resilient solutions that support public health and long-term community growth.What You'll Do:Apply sound engineering judgment and analytical techniques to prepare designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water and wastewater infrastructure projectsPlan, schedule, and coordinate assigned project phases with other engineering disciplines, project managers, clients, and regulatory stakeholdersMonitor progress, budget, schedule, and technical performance; identify potential issues early and support timely resolutionComplete assigned work within established budget and schedule requirements while supporting practical, sustainable, and cost-effective solutionsProvide technical guidance, quality reviews, and day-to-day support to junior engineers and design staffWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience requiredExperience with water distribution and wastewater collection systems, water treatment, or wastewater treatment processes requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredProficiency with applicable engineering design and modeling software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, WaterGEMS, or SewerGEMS, as well as Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of QA/QC procedures, engineering standards, and applicable laws and regulationsAbility to provide technical leadership, organize competing priorities, and work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly to project teams and clientsParticipation in relevant professional engineering or industry organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Contribute to water and wastewater projects that support public health, reliable service, and sustainable community growthExpand your technical leadership while helping develop junior engineers and design professionalsJoin a collaborative team that values practical problem-solving, technical quality, flexibility, and continuous improvementCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
