CIS Solution Architect - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a CIS Solution Architect - Hybrid position with a Large Energy Company located in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO. This is a 1 year contract opportunity. Pay Range: $108.80 - $118.80 per hour based on experience Position Overview: This role will design and govern end-to-end solutions across SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems as part of a multi-year CIS Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong architecture background with experience solutioning across complex hybrid cloud and on-premise landscapes, applying strong architectural principles. Experience with SAP S/4 functionality and technologies, integration via SAP BTP, SAP Data platforms, Salesforce, and AWS are preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end solution architecture for key financial, payment and collections end to end business processes across enterprise systems including SAP S/4, Salesforce and supporting systems
• Minimize customizations and enforce Clean Core principles
• Identify new technology capabilities or patterns that might be required and align with architecture tenets and guidelines
• Govern standards and best practices, minimizing customization
• Lead design and implementation ensuring development aligns with proposed architecture
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams
• Ensure resiliency, scalability, security, and performance
• Conduct architecture reviews and present at architecture review boards
• Validate implementation against design

Requirements:

• 10 years Architecture experience
• 2 years SAP S/4 HANA Utilities (IS-U)
• 2 years SAP BTP and Integration Suite
• 4 years AWS experience
• Expertise in enterprise level solution architecture across multiple systems including hybrid scenarios
• Strong architectural governance experience and solutioning skills
• Integration and Data architecture skills (SAP BTP, AWS, IBM ACE preferred)
• Cloud / Hybrid Architecture solutioning (AWS preferred)
• Solutioning end to end architecture across complex ecosystems
• Architecture solutioning including drafting options and providing a recommendation
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, observability, resiliency and performance design

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience
• SAP Certified Solution Architect or Technology Professional
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, TOGAF, LeanIX
• Utility industry experience a plus
• Clear articulation of complex technical concepts to leaders, stakeholder management and technical teams
• Strong business acumen to align architectural decisions with strategic goals
• Independent, accountable, and collaborative
• Comfortable working across teams and vendors
