Senior Implementation Manager - Electrical

Job Description: Provides technical and support services (and in some instances direct oversight and governance services) to Electrical Enterprise Risk Projects at Energy Northwest, that will ultimately allow the Project Manager to execute project deliverables with quality, safety, on schedule, within budget, and in the most effective manner possible. They are considered an authority and expert in their applicable field with supporting field experience and knowledge of best practices and current code requirements. They have, and leverage, skillsets that challenge the quality of the execution strategies and validate readiness of the project to deliver successful execution of projects and/or deliverables that improve project schedules, reduce project cost, and/or reduce or eliminate project risks. They work directly for the CPM Manager or RMM Manager and with Project Managers of Enterprise Risk projects. Anecdotally, when Enterprise Risk Project(s) are refueling outage critical path(s), this position is leveraged to find ways to save Energy Northwest critical path hours (thousands of dollars), reduce outage durations (millions of dollars), and preclude risks coming to fruition that extend outage duration (tens of millions of dollars). Principal Accountabilities: Business Case Development: Lead the creation and evaluation of business cases for strategic initiatives, projects, and investments. Develop detailed financial models and forecasts to support business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identify potential impacts, and propose solutions. Strategic Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business case development and strategic planning. Analyze business processes and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to support decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, present analysis, and obtain buy-in for business cases. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives. Project Oversight: Oversee the implementation of approved business cases, ensuring that projects are executed according to plan and deliver expected outcomes. Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, identifying and addressing issues or deviations from the business case. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance business analysis methodologies. Contribute to the development and refinement of business case templates, tools, and processes. Other: Key risk indicator and performance indicator development. Business case performance reporting and trending. Other analytics, benchmarking, and research as assigned. Skills and Experience: Expert Panel Interview (oral board}Error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies. Managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage related activities. Advanced project management techniques at Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facility. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction : management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and twenty years of experience in a technical field; OR an AA/AS degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and twenty-two years of experience in a technical field; OR a High School Diploma or GED and twenty-four years of experience in a technical field. An advanced degree in a related field of study or business may be accepted in lieu of two years of experience. Project Management certification is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spectra Tech, Inc.
