Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Steel & Hydraulics

Job Description Job Description Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team with experience in fabricated steel product design. Requirements New product design and development Experience using SolidWorks Experience with the design of heavy equipment, steel fabrication, weldments and hydraulics Analyze and modify existing products for manufacturing improvement and efficiency Work with manufacturing on the shop floor Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical components and fabricated parts Work closely with other engineers, fabricators and assemblers to develop and test new products Perform design cost analysis on current and future products Investigate market trends and formulate new ideas for products The must haves: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology Strong working knowledge of hydraulics and electronic controls Experience with weldment design, weld symbols and fabrication terminology Must be proficient with SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation Minimum of 5 years Engineering experience Company Description We are a firm focused in the STEM Talent Arena; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
