This role supports line and/or base maintenance operations in a fast-paced aviation environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on aircraft and aircraft componentsActs as the first point of escalation for technical issues within the team.Consult and follow FAA, Manufacturer's and company regulations and procedures as appropriate while conducting aircraft maintenanceComplete accurate maintenance records and logbook entriesCoordinate with operations regarding aircraft status and return-to-serviceMaintain tools, equipment, and work areaEnsure compliance with all applicable safety guidelines and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedPreferred ExperiencePrevious experience with Beechcraft 99 and B1900, Embraer EMB-120, Fairchild SA227, Saab 340B aircraftPrevious experience with GE T700/CT7, PT6A, PW118 and TPE331 series powerplantsLeadership experience within a fast-paced, scheduled maintenance operationRequirementsMust hold and maintain valid FAA A&P certification2+ years of related aviation maintenance experience requiredSubject to FAA Drug & Alcohol Testing (DOT Safety-Sensitive)Must have demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to guide and support team membersMust be able to accurately read and interpret technical, regulatory, and procedural documentation to ensure maintenance tasks are performed in full compliance with FAA regulations and company standardsMust have strong analytical skills with attention to detailMust have the ability to function effectively independently or as a team memberMust have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh School graduate or GED equivalentMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorshipMust meet airport badging requirements, including TSA Security background checkMust hold and maintain a valid Driver's License and meet all company insurance criteriaPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or aircraft structures for extended periodsAbility to work in confined spaces and at various heightsRequires frequent use of hands and arms to reach, grasp, handle tools, and perform precision tasksAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and more occasionally with assistanceWork EnvironmentMay work outdoors, in weather as necessaryMay work near moving aircraft and machineryMay work in a potentially noisy work environmentUse of PPE is requiredWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
