Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (I&C) Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (I&C) Estimator to develop conceptual and detailed construction cost estimates for electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems supporting building, water/wastewater, pump station, and power projects. This hybrid position is open to candidates located within 50 miles of a company office and requires in-office attendance two days per week.

Pay: $48.00- $72.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical and/or instrumentation & controls estimating experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience with conceptual estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost modeling
• Knowledge of electrical and I&C codes and standards
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, PDF editing software, and estimating tools
• Experience with Sage Estimating preferred
• Oil & Gas, industrial construction, or hard bid estimating experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual and detailed construction cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing calculations
• Create work breakdown structures and Basis of Estimate documentation
• Analyze labor, material, subcontractor, and vendor costs
• Support risk analysis, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Maintain historical cost databases and estimating models
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver accurate and competitive estimates
