Human Resources Business PartnerAs a Human Resources Business Partner at Crescent Electric, you will be a key liaison and change agent. Using your proactive communication skills, you will balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.Location: Remote-based roleTypical Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday; First shiftFLSA Status: ExemptReports To: Director of Human ResourcesPrimary Duties:Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with legal counsel when necessary.Develop and nurture partnerships to provide coaching, support and guidance. Contribute to and deploy plans to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.Effectively represent Crescent Electric on employment law, Worker's Compensation, and unemployment matters.Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department and other functions to develop policies, programs, and solutions. Partner with the business leaders to build the culture, plans, and success measures that make us best in class and a best place to work.Deploy, coach to and provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans business unit restructuring and optimal organizational structure.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Current knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers' compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws.Crescent Electric's compensation package includes an array of top-tier benefit options, including:Eligibility for health, and dental, vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms.Eligibility for company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short-term disability, long-term care, and Employee Assistance Program, subject to applicable waiting periods.Excused Absence time off and Paid Time Off (PTO).Company-paid holidays.Other benefits for which you may be eligible includes supplemental life insurance, hospital indemnity, and accident and critical illness benefits with cancer coverage.Employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
