Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

An occupational health event in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to conduct Human Performance Exams and clearance evaluations in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. The role involves performing focused clinical assessments and providing fit-for-duty determinations based on job-specific physical requirements.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Setting: In-person

Responsibilities:

Perform Human Performance Exams and clearance evaluations.
Assess functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, range of motion, strength, and endurance.
Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capabilities.
Identify medical limitations or restrictions that could affect job performance.
Provide medical clearance and fit-for-duty determinations based on clinical findings.
Conduct focused physical exams, vital signs, and medical history reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to make clearance decisions in a high-volume setting.
