CDL-A East Coast Regional OTR Truck Driver (Primarily east of The Mississippi)

At Seaford Transfer you work one-on-one with your dispatcher to maximize your income. We balance work and home time, are flexible with time off requests, and pick loads we know can be dispatched. Your dispatcher will work with you on routes when booking loads. We take pride at making every appointment on-time or early. This benefits everyone, including preferred rates on subsequent loads and more consistent lanes. Most loads are no-touch in a 53’ dry van. We can assist you with getting a TWIC card if you do not have one.

Our OTR freight truck drivers receive:

OTR – paid on mileage ($0.45-0.65/mile) based on experience

Short Haul/Local – paid per job/day minimum guaranteed when OTR

Class A driver requirements:

· Must have a valid CDL-A (manual) driver’s license

· Available to stay over-the-road for up to 1-2 weeks between home time (runs can be shorter, but please be available to be gone overnight)

· Pass pre-employment drug screen and create profile in FMCSA DOT Clearinghouse

· Must have and/or obtain current medical card

· Good driving record, MVR will be run for eligibility

· Preferred, 1-year minimum driving experience
