Global Indirect Tax Manager — Envalior

Indirect tax has become a real-time, system-driven discipline that spans every market a business operates in. At Envalior, it sits at the heart of how we manage complexity across our international footprint, from VAT, to Sales and Use Tax and GST to customs and emerging digital reporting regimes worldwide. We’re looking for a Global Indirect Tax Manager to lead this work across all jurisdictions and help shape where it goes next.

In this role, you’ll take a truly global view, governing our partially outsourced compliance model while ensuring consistency, quality, and accountability across regions with very different rules and reporting demands. It suits someone who thinks internationally by instinct, understands how local requirements connect to a global operating model, and is keen to improve how the work gets done through ERP, automation, and digital reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and govern indirect tax compliance across all jurisdictions, maintaining consistent standards in a complex international environment
• Define and implement the global indirect tax policies, processes, and Group directives that guide entities worldwide
• Build and continuously improve the supporting systems, including ERP configuration, data analytics, and automation, with global scalability in mind
• Review commercial contracts for indirect tax implications across international supply chains, and shape tax clause wording together with Legal
• Lead insourcing decisions across regions, balancing internal execution and outsourced delivery for quality, compliance, and cost
• Lead global indirect tax technology projects, including e-invoicing readiness across multiple regimes
• Manage relationships with advisors, service providers, and tax authorities in markets around the world

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 10+ years in indirect tax with genuine international breadth (VAT, GST, Sales and Use Tax, customs, and beyond)
• A degree in Tax Law, Economics, or a Master in Indirect Tax
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, tax control frameworks, and digitalization initiatives
• A proven track record managing global compliance models and Big 4 providers across regions
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across cultures and time zones
• Fluent English; additional languages are a real advantage
