The Diet Clerk will:
- Follow all departmental procedures in the preparation of diets for all patients.
- Ensure timely completion of departmental functions including catered functions.
- Prepare the salad bar, make sandwiches and put up desserts for the cafeteria.
- Coordinates schedules and activities of designated shifts, assisting as needed.
The hours for this position are 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year on the job training in food service
- Two (2) years’ experience ( preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Nutrition Therapy
- Required to completed three (3) Nutrition Therapy sessions with the Registered Dietician
- Certified Dietary Manager course ( preferred )
- Basic computer knowledge; proficient computer skills ( preferred )
Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.50- $23.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
