We expect smart people who are doers with bright ideas, willing to put their game-face on, take on new challenges and juggle many assignments at once.What You'll Be DoingMonitor and analyze existing systems and servicesPerform runbook functions to resolve alerts within defined SLAsEscalate alerts to designated on-call teams when NOC is unable to resolveMaintain services once they are live by responding promptly to incidentsMeasure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system healthIdentify repeatable tasks performed by team members for automationDevelop understanding and utilization of monitoring and automation toolsIdentify trends in system alerts and monitoringRequest improvements to systems and services for future performance improvementsServe as Major Incident Commander as neededParticipate in critical bridge callsLog all technical issues into the ticketing system with as much detail as possibleIdentify when new runbooks are needed for new alertsParticipate in one of multiple shiftsWhat You Should HaveBasic skills with monitoring and alerting toolsBasic skills with basic networking principles and protocolsBasic skills with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop supportBasic skills administering Windows Active DirectoryBasic skills with interpreting monitoring dashboards and reportsCalm under pressure, and able to drive issues to resolutionAble to coordinate efforts across multiple teamsAttention to detailExperience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or Jira preferred)At least 3-4 years of experience supporting enterprise level (medium to large) environments with at least 1 of those in a Senior Service Desk roleWhat We'll Offer In ReturnFull-Time Salary Position with a competitive salary. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels. Must be able to carry and transport up to 70 pounds up to 20 feet. Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
