Monitor Technician

Responsibilities Our ideal candidate is responsible for the continuous observation, interpretation, and documentation of patients' cardiac rhythms in an inpatient acute care hospital. This role involves operating telemetry monitoring systems, identifying and reporting dysrhythmias, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications Requirements: High School diploma or equivalency Completion of a formal Monitor Technician or EKG Technician training program preferred Prior experience in telemetry monitoring is advantageous Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) OR Certified Cardiac Monitor Technician (CCMT) required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Skills: Basic computer skills for telemetry monitoring and documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize patient condition changes Effective communication and interpreted skills Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
