OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lynchburg, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate long-haul dry van freight nationwide from Lynchburg, VA as a solo OTR driver, delivering on-time while prioritizing safety and compliance. Expect weekly averages near 2,500 miles, starting pay at 65¢ per mile, plus safety, inspection, and referral bonuses.

Key duties:

• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and safely operate modern tractors (under 3 years) with APU, inverter, and sleeper comforts.
• Secure and transport loads, maintain accurate electronic logs and paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch.
• Follow DOT and state regulations to preserve a clean inspection record.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
