Position Overview Primary Function: Set up and operate twisting machines to twist insulated conductors together for use as individual pairs or as part of a cable construction. Previous extrusion or wire and cable experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor twisting machines to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent faults and production delays. Troubleshoot and repair damaged conductors according to specifications. Ensure production meets required specifications for voltage, footage, and twisting lay. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to all safety and quality standards. Additional Responsibilities Set up machines and materials before production runs. Monitor machine operations and production output. Perform routine quality checks during production. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors. Maintain accurate production records as required. Skills & Experience Manufacturing or production experience preferred (training provided). Some prior extrusion or wire and cable experience. Basic math skills (addition and subtraction). Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently. Good manual dexterity and problem‑solving skills. Location Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 (required).
