Texas Licensed Water Instructor

To enhance the effectiveness of water utility training, the full-time Texas Licensed Water Instructor will assist in delivering specialty courses, utilizing adult learning theories for online and classroom instruction, and maintaining technical competence while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assist in training and delivering various specialty skilled and semi-skilled courses within the Water Program Utilize adult learning theories to maximize learner success and course effectiveness Maintain technical competence and assist in creating or updating curriculum content as needed Required qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience Three years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems Valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment Texas Class "B" Water license (or higher) and Texas Class "B" Wastewater license (or higher) or Wastewater Collection II or III 60 hours of classroom instructional experience or completion of approved instructor training courses within 6 months of employment
