Overview
Registered Nurse, PCU travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas, starting 07/05/2026 for 13 weeks, weekly pay $2,075-$2,160, shift 3x12 Nights. This is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting requiring acute-care skills in a progressive care unit with potential to float to ICU and other inpatient units.

- Unit: PCU within a short-term acute care setting
- Floating: expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and interventions tailored to cardiac and post-operative needs
- Manage CRRT and BiPAP therapies as part of critical care support
- Perform and document own labs, monitor hemodynamics, and manage chest tubes and PICC lines as applicable
- Prepare for and assist with emergent events; conduct codes when needed
- Maintain day-1 open-heart care responsibilities, including patients with pacer wires, while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate, timely charting; collaborate with ICU, ED, Med/Surg, and other units as assigned

Requirements
- License: KS RN or Compact RN license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHF (as specified)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent critical care/in ICU experience
- Clinical skills: Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing own labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines
- Practice readiness: Able and willing to float to ICU and all inpatient units; comfortable with open-heart day-1 care and pacer wires
- Schedule: Able to work 3x12 night shifts; every-other weekend and holiday coverage as unit needs
- Education: RN education and licensure must meet state requirements
