Step into a dynamic contract role providing crucial support to students as a School Psychologist within a welcoming elementary school community near Denver, CO. This full-time, onsite position runs from September 24, 2026, through November 19, 2026, offering a valuable opportunity to make a real difference this school year.
Your expertise will help serve a caseload of approximately 40 students, collaborating with educators and families to support student growth and well-being. The school seeks someone who can convey their capabilities in detail—energetic, positive, and engaging communication is highly valued here.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Special Services License through the Colorado Department of Education, or eligibility/status of application in process.
- Background as a School Psychologist, including hands-on experience working in school settings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and interview skills, with the ability to articulate your clinical expertise and relevant experiences.
- Travelers are welcome to apply if licensure requirements are met or if licensure application is underway; be prepared to discuss local housing, area research, and travel logistics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies that help students succeed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support compliance with educational policies and procedures.
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed for student well-being.
