Pulse Healthcare
Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on cardiac conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess patients' health status, implementing care plans accordingly.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Manage patient documentation using electronic health records.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.Occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical as required.QualificationsCurrent RN license.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in telemetry or cardiac care.Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment preferred.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 24Patient Ratios: 4:1Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderlyWork EnvironmentThe unit fosters a family-oriented atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration to provide the best patient care possible. Scrubs can be of any color.Additional InformationWeekend shifts are required every other weekend.Expected hours: 36 hours per week.Client Details City Hickory State NC
