Associate Scientist- Oral Formulations (Onsite, New Brunswick, NJ)

We are seeking an Associate Scientist- oral formulations for a global pharmaceutical client. The Associate Scientist is responsible for supporting studies to establish oral solid formulations. This includes execution of laboratory and pilot plant work, design experimental formulation studies, and conduct material characterization and formulation testing.

This is a 40-hour per-week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite at the client's office in New Brunswick, NJ.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct development activities related to developing oral formulations

• Conduct oral product batch processing, material characterization and formulation testing.

• Design and optimize formulation using design of experience approach.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in oral formulation development and processing required.

• Knowledge of oral product processing - blending, tableting, encapsulation etc.

• Experience in oral formulation preparation and testing techniques preferred.

• Knowledge of data trending and tracking, including use of statistical analysis software a plus.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).

Compensation: $32/hr. - $35.56/hr.
