Our client is looking for a Software Engineer (Java Backend) in Charlotte, NC, below is the detailed requirement.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Required Skills: Java / Microservices / Database Development, Virtual Assets & Blockchain Analytics Experience, Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar platform exposure

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Java 11/17+ with Spring Boot and Microservices
• Strong backend development experience
• Advanced SQL and database design/performance tuning
• REST APIs and integration services
• Test automation using JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Rest Assured, or Selenium
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Agile development experience.
• Design and develop new Java-based microservices
• Build scalable APIs and integration solutions
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
• Support blockchain and digital asset analytics initiatives
• Collaborate within a 6-member Agile team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with virtual assets, blockchain analytics, and digital asset transaction monitoring.
• Familiarity with Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar blockchain platforms
• Understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, wallet attribution, on-chain analytics, and financial crime compliance
• Experience integrating blockchain data sources into enterprise applications for risk management and regulatory reporting
