Front Desk Attendant

The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, MA is seeking a friendly and professional Lodging Front Desk Attendant to be the first point of contact for our members and guests, ensuring a positive, organized, and safe experience at our club. This person would assist members and guests in all front office-related areas in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner that maintains high standards of service and hospitality.
This is a Full-Time, Year-Round position.
Position Overview
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly upon entrance and exit.
- Answer phone inquiries, return voicemails, and provide information about the club and fitness programs.
- Stay knowledgeable of marketing communications and upcoming programs.
- Open and close the facility as required by the shift schedule.
- Ensure the Front Desk operates efficiently while role-modeling the company’s values and culture.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, restrooms, and locker rooms.
- Replenish products as needed and notify management when inventory is low.
Credentials & Experience
- Minimum six months’ related experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent member service.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time. The position may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
