We're Hiring! Quality Control Technician – 1st Shift

We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to help ensure our aluminum extrusion products meet the highest standards for our customers. If you enjoy precision, working with measurement equipment, and collaborating with production teams, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule & Pay 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
⏰ Overtime required based on production needs
Starting Pay: $18-$24/hour, depending on experience
- Inspect aluminum extrusions to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Interpret Aluminum Association tolerances and engineering drawings.
- Create profile measurement inspection plans using AutoCAD and iNOEX software.
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify product quality.
- Perform calibration of measuring and temperature-related equipment.
- Conduct first article inspections and approve production start-ups.
- Perform mechanical testing, including tensile and hardness testing.
- Prepare quality documentation, including PPAP, CPK, and GR&R reports.
- Investigate quality concerns and work with production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Review and disposition nonconforming material, scrap, and held orders.
- Respond to customer quality concerns and help drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
✔ Strong attention to detail
✔ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
✔ Experience with precision measuring tools (preferred)
✔ AutoCAD experience is a plus
✔ Manufacturing or quality control experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
