In this role, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.ResponsibilitiesIndependently perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound proceduresApply independent judgment, initiative, and creative ingenuity towards work solutionsRequirementsGraduate or graduation eligible within 6 months of a formal ultrasound technology training programRegistered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing InternationalIf registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employmentPrevious experience as an Ultrasonographer preferredCurrent BLS requiredAbout Tacoma General HospitalMultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, in the heart of Tacoma, WA, is a 367-bed regional medical center delivering cutting-edge care. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.33 - $79.86 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
