Job Summary:

The Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver is responsible for providing support to distribution center operations through such activities as receiving, warehousing, inventory, loading, unloading, and making safe and efficient deliveries of mattresses, foundations and accessories to our customers. A safe driving record and heavy lifting are key requirements of the position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists with receiving, warehousing, organizing, store transfers, deliveries, unloading and loading of trucks
• Participates in weekly cycle counts and floor audits
• Prepares product for deliveries and customer pickups
• Maintains quality service and representation of the company
• Completes various reports through our inventory management system
• Maintains knowledge of our point of sale (POS), Inventory tracking, and delivery systems
• Works as part of a team to be efficient in the daily duties that are asked
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Maintain a valid drivers License and maintain a clean driving record
• Heavy Lifting
• Ability to effectively learn/use computer based POS, Inventory tracking, and delivery systems
• Ability to navigate to delivery addresses
• Possess good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience Driving a large vehicle

Physical Requirements:

• Get in/out of a box truck multiple times a day
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Lift and carry 50 pounds (Team lift 100lbs) multiple times throughout the day.
• Pass a DOT physical (select locations)
